The 4400’s Megalyn Echikunwoke will portray the regular medical examiner after she makes an impression on Lt. Horatio Cane and the rest of the CSI: Miami crew.
According to THR, Megalyn will fill a bit of the space left by Khandi Alexander who has portrayed Dr. Woods, the medical examiner since the show beginnings in 2002.
Congratulations to Megalyn on becoming a regular cast member of CSI:Miami!

With The 4400 being canceled, The 4400 Guide is going off “active duty”. The guide will still be here (with all the wonderful recaps, season summaries, and actor news updates) and there may be some occasional news, however it will not be updated as often.
There are still many people who love the show and come here to read the posts and make comments. Some readers and show fans are just now finding out that the series was not picked up for another season.
If you’d like to keep up with other stuff that I write about, you can always head over to FBI Dramas, or Screamstress for horror. I’m also at Twitter as The4400GuideNut. You should also check out Arieanna at Gilmore Girls News. She quietly stepped back from this a while ago to take on other things, but we both have enjoyed regularly updating this site, and interacting with the community here.
I’m grateful that so many of our readers have enjoyed the site, and have helped make the 4400 community such a great place. If you have any news, please contact me at alexandra@b5media.com. :)

Summer Glau and the cast of Fox’s Terminator were chatting with E!Online recently about the new season.
The bad news? Cameron “Terminator” may not be as nice and sweet (well, as sweet as a Terminator of her model can be) as she was in the first season. The good news! Garret Dillahunt as evil Cromartie will be back, as a cast regular!
First, Summer reveals that Cameron is not the same when she comes out of the explosion, by saying she has “some issues”. We were already suspecting as much from that huge explosion. Seems whatever the problem, the fix won’t be as simple as self-maintenance?
Secondly, series creator Josh Friedman had a bit to say about Cameron’s femininity, and how things could become complicated if there were “someone else” in John Connor’s life. This makes total sense, as Cameron is there to protect John, and she’d do anything to protect him, right? (I hear those fan fiction pens scribbling…).
Finally, having The 4400’s Garret Dillahunt back as Cromartie is awesome, and Garret leads us to believe that Cromartie will be doing some serious butt-kicking….I mean err..neck-snapping in Season 2. I can’t wait. Oh, read more over at E! about what happens to Thomas Dekker’s hair!

The 4400’s Summer Glau was recently at (and awarded!) for the 34th Annual Saturn Awards. she looked amazing as usual, and you can see a picture of Summer from the event here. She wore a beautiful white dress, and I think she looks just as great in the photo here from the Fox Up Fronts in New York.
The Saturn Awards honor and acknowledge work in science fiction, fantasy and horror in film and television. Interestingly, Summer tied this year with Elizabeth Mitchell from Lost for the Best Supporting Actress on Television. Summer’s part is for her role as Cameron on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Coincidently, Summer and Elizabeth both did a bit of growing up in Texas.
Summer received a Saturn Award in 2005 for Best Supporting Actress in Serenity. As gracious as we know Summer to be, I’m sure she had no issue with sharing the honor with Elizabeth. Congratulations to Summer and Elizabeth!

Did you ever watch a series and wonder what it was that made you do it? I do it all the time. I began watching The Dead Zone because I loved the story from the author of the book, Stephen King.
I also watched it because I never really got over Christopher Walken’s sinister performance in the movie, The Dead Zone. There’s plenty of fans here who’ve already chimed in about why they watch The 4400 at the Season 5 Excitement Builds thread.

The 4400’s Christie Laing (photos) will be a guest star in tonight’s
episode of NBC’s horror anthology, Fear Itself. If you recall, Christie portrayed an adult Isabelle in two episodes of The 4400, The Marked and Mommy’s Bosses. Tonight’s episode is all about something sinister at a wedding!
Update: You can see the video of this episode called In Sickness And In Health here at NBC’s site.

So Jacqueline McKenzie has thankfully been sharing the latest scoop at her blog on filming for her role in the new TV drama series, Mental. She talks about how strange it feels not to be donning an NTAC vest.
She also shares some nice thoughts that she and other 4400 cast members share about the ending of the show. I hope all the fans who miss the show read her words, as you can tell she really misses it. Check out the video below of her co-star Chris Vance, and more about the series after the jump:

In The 4400, Shawn and Nikki are a favorite couple for many. This video takes us back to what were simpler times for Shawn Farrell. He was freshly back from the future, and still just a young guy trying to figure it all out.
Besides the fact that Shawn remembered Nikki Donovan before he was gone, there is really no back story other than that moment when Kyle was joking with him on the beach about her, and Shawn noted that she was too young for something (probably dating).
