The 4400’s Talented Directors and “Cousins”
What do you think The 4400, Dead Like Me, and The X-Files have in common? Simply great directing! Just from listening to the season commentaries or reading the interviews, you may realize how much of an incredibly talented group of people work on the show. I think we’re proud to have these two directors, and the insightful shows I’ve dubbed as cousins to the 4400.
Directors Milan Cheylov and Morgan Beggs directed all three seasons of The 4400. Here are some great highlights of both the director’s works, and facts about the shows.
Milan Cheylov is credited as an actor, director, and film producer for many TV and film projects. Some of the notable include:
- Dead Like Me, a cable TV show that received six Emmy nominations, starring Mandy Patinkin
- Beautiful People. an ABC Family TV series starring Daphne Zuniga
- 24, Las Vegas. Monk, and other wonderful shows
Morgan Beggs, who is credited as an assistant director for the The 4400, has a great list as well:
- Elektra. motion picture starring Jennifer Garner
- The Exorcism of Emily Rose, motion picture starring Laura Linney
- Dark Angel , the James Cameron TV project starring Jessica Alba - this show was nominated for a Golden Globe and received other awards and nominations.
- Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, starring Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar
- The X-Files - enough said there!
